Panzer II (4e partie)

hi all,
P2 is progressing well, I worked on the "chipping". Just before I gave a wash for the AK Interactive DAK highly diluted to "melt" a little more than 2 shades of wash tank and then a more "pure" the same product for the highlighted device. I too looked for "chipping", I almost returned the Mig to understand the logic and rendering of this work. Made with a clear ocher base, then the parties a "little" with damaged in vallejo german gray from scuffing and then more "deep" with Dark Rust "Panzer Aces Reference 302.

Panzer 2 (3e partie)

Salut,

Hi,

P2 is progressing well. Setting color camo green (which I find a bit dark, we'll see when aging) and then a layer of "Klir" and decals (in numbers and balkenkreuse, I do not know if this is right but I did not have it in my box of piece, decla from Tamiya are not the best)

Next step: pin wash and chipping  light ocher + panzer gray

see you soon

Panzer 2 (suite)

Salut,

Hi,

this is CM on my tamiya panzer 2. I forced the contrast because I still have a green camouflage paint with an airbrush. I had already finished the CM last week, but I messed up. I tested the technique after the gray, black and white (I discussed the subject with Alex on his blog;) ...), a layer of ocher, a panel of thinned and CM. And bin, it was not as I expected. All this was done with Tamiya Color ... So I stripped everything to fill again. Stripping is done with Cif for windows. It is miraculous product. I put the container in an old P2, then sprayed CIF. Color is removed from the first draft. After a few minutes in this bath, the model was again "clean". I also painted the wheels and the barrel.
